The Australian Mutuals Foundation (AMF) is a strong supporter of the Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU) and represents Australian Credit Unions and Mutuals as an affiliate member. We currently support the ACCU’s programs in Laos People’s Democratic Republic and Timor-Leste, and we also assist with developing online training programs.
Representatives from the AMF, on behalf of the AMF and Australian Credit Unions and Mutuals, were delighted to participate in the ACCU’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The ACCU now represents 32,809 Credit Unions from 23 countries in Asia with 46 million members and total assets of US$423 billion – what a remarkable story and journey.
