Barnardos Gifts for Kids Christmas appeal

For some, the festive season can be a time for joy and cheer but for disadvantaged children, Christmas can be a sad, lonely and heartbreaking time. This year, please spare a thought for the thousands of Australian children affected by abuse, homelessness and poverty.

As the holiday season approaches, Barnardos Australia is quickly preparing for their Gifts for Kids annual Christmas appeal which aims to bring Christmas cheer to over 10,000 vulnerable and young people currently supported by Barnardos services.

How you can make a difference

This Christmas, you can help bring joy by donating a gift card or making a cash contribution. Every gift you donate will help make a child’s Christmas morning something worth smiling for.

Here's how to get involved:

• Purchase a gift card through the Barnardos website.

• Make a cash donation which will go directly to a child or young person in need.

• Choose from a list of gifts through the Barnardos Simply Giving website.
