Yurungai Bus Raffle winners announced

The Australian Mutuals Foundation, with the generous support of Transport Life and Leisure, recently hosted a raffle fundraiser to help Barnardos Australia purchase a much-needed new bus for their Yurungai Learning Centre.

Located in Waterloo, the Barnardos Australia Yurungai Learning Centre provides essential support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children including homework help, cultural learning, life skills development, and nutritious meals. For many children, the Centre’s bus is a vital link, offering safe and reliable transport.

Thanks to the generous support of Transport Life and Leisure, these two winners will enjoy a well-deserved holiday getaway.

But the real winners are the children at the Yurungai Learning Centre. Every raffle ticket purchased has helped Barnardos move closer to a vital goal: replacing the Centre’s aging bus that transports children safely to and from the Centre.
