Volunteers from the Australian Mutuals Foundation helped to spread joy and excitement by attending the 2023 Barnardos Australia Easter Egg Hunt.
The day commenced with an eager group of children looking forward to an array of Easter-themed activities with our volunteers enthusiastically helping the children decorate yummy treats, and enjoy lots of arts and crafts fun!
Busy hands worked hard to create colourful Easter bunnies and Easter egg drawings before getting ready for the main event – the Easter egg hunt!
Our volunteers helped to hide yummy chocolate Easter eggs to help make the ‘egg-stra special’ Easter event a memorable and exciting day for the children who scurried along quickly to see just how many yummy Easter eggs they could place in their basket.
Volunteering days like this provide wonderful opportunities for organisations to demonstrate corporate social responsibility with our volunteers expressing a sense of gratitude and appreciation for being involved.
The enthusiasm and support demonstrated by our volunteers at this event is a great example of how community engagement activities help to benefit our partnership with Barnardos Australia and also those who choose to lend a hand.
