The Australian Mutuals Foundation is pleased to announce that this year we will be supporting Barnardos Gifts for Kids – Christmas Gift Appeal.
The Barnardos Gifts for Kids – Christmas Gift Appeal gives thousands of disadvantaged Australian children the opportunity to open a present on Christmas Day.
This year Barnardos is hoping to receive 10,000 presents for the children in their specialised programs, some of whom have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness and do not normally get the chance to have presents at Christmas. Your gift donation will have a lasting impact on these children’s lives.
How can I get involved?
Set up a Christmas tree in your workplace and invite staff and members to donate new (unwrapped) gifts
Refer staff and members to the AMF’s “Pick a Gift Online” to purchase from a range of popular gifts to suit children of different ages. Simply choose the gift, and Barnardos will deliver it to a child in need this Christmas.
Make a donation – thousands of children depend on Barnardos services every day. Your donation will help ensure they have the long-term care and support they need.
